Find out for yourself:

Sadaqat Ali

Full name: Sadaqat Ali

Job Title: Founder and CEO

1) Please explain your role at Lingoing:

My role entails being ultimately responsible for all day-to-day management decisions and for implementing the Company’s long and short term plans. I act as a direct liaison between the Board and management of the Company and communicate to the Board on behalf of management. I have an amazing team, we’re dedicated to the vision and with the pressure there is a lot of fun, we have our own community and Lingoing’s team culture is something I am very proud of.

2) Why Lingoing?

We believe that every voice has the right to be heard. Our team come from a diverse background, with unique experiences, languages and skills. One thing we all have in common is a tenacious personality to make things work for everyone involved and creating opportunities that bring about further change. Lingoing prioritises the quality of service with fair and timely pay, alongside identifying new opportunities that can support the various needs of our network.

3) What do you do outside of work?

I spend time with my family – I have a beautiful 11 month old daughter, she is such a joy to be around, I look forward to seeing her at the end of everyday.

In my spare time, I hang out with my friends and enjoy street fitness – I train using my own body weight and urban structures, it’s really challenging to create a solid workout but really fun. I really enjoy travel and planning trips off the beaten track, it’s where the most interesting experiences are.

4) What is your favourite film?

It has to be The Shawshank Redemption! The film has so many great lessons in there but my most memorable line from the movie has to be when Red (Morgan Freeman) says “ I guess it comes down to a simple choice, really. Get busy living or get busy dying.”

5) Last but not least…What is the worst thing you have ever eaten?

The worst food has to be Sheep tripe! It’s a delicacy I know but brrrrrr. I have to say though Ovais has broken the record, wait until his blog comes through!
